The Hildreds Shopping Centre has been described as "The Heart of Shopping in Skegness" and indeed this is true as we are situated right in the centre of this busy seaside town. Located on the east coast, officially recognised as "the drier side of Britain" the Hildreds is only a 60 minute car journey away from Lincoln, Grimsby, making it an ideal location for that spot of shopping in a stress free, comfortable atmosphere, close to all local amenities and within walking distance of the beach. Anchored by the Co-op food hall, the Hildreds Shopping Centre has 29 top name shops and stores, all undercover and on one level making it the easy option to shop and browse, especially for families using prams or wheelchairs. The Hildreds is open all year round with shops and attractions for the whole family and parking for over 300 vehicles. As well as great shopping, the Hildreds also features exceptional seasonal displays, all designed and made by the Centre's own staff. These displays bring out the child in everyone who sees them. Christmas time is everyone's favourite time in Skegness, because that is when the entire Centre is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with animated gnomes and elves, life size polar bears and penguins, fairytale castles and, of course, Santa himself who usually takes time out of his busy schedule to visit the award winning displays and takes up residence for a while in the Centre's enchanted grotto.
